RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – My Family Connection, LLC is hosting the Fall Festival at The Venue located at Party America.
Charity Carpenter, CEO of My Family Connection, and Katie Coombs, owner of The Venue, stopped by Morning Break to invite the community to their event.
The Fall Festival takes place on Saturday, November 9th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Venue (5925 S. Virginia Street, Reno). Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance ($5 for children 5 and older and $10 for adults), but tickets will also be available at the door.
There will be games, crafts, light refreshments, contests and more. Portions of the proceeds will go to the non-profit organization FosterED Connection. Carpenter is also the founder and executive director of this non-profit organization. Their mission is to provide comprehensive educational advocacy and life skills training for children in foster care, ensuring they have the support to reach their full potential.
