A steady stream of voters
1 in the afternoon | Three precincts around Fremont saw a steady stream of voters Tuesday morning, each with more traffic than during the May primary.
The Precinct 4C polling place, located in the Deerfield Apartments clubhouse, 1021 S. Howard Drive, reported that as of 10 a.m., more than 100 voters had cast ballots.
The polling place for Sections 4A and 4B is located at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1544 E. Military Ave. Poll workers are stationed in the gym, residents who live east of Lincoln Avenue vote on one side and those west of Lincoln vote on the other.
As of 11 a.m., workers at Precinct 4A reported almost 25 percent voter turnout, including voters who had cast ballots early, and expected heavy traffic for the rest of the day.

The Nebraska Extension office at 1206 W. 23rd St. also hosts two districts, 2C and 2D. Poll workers reported voters standing in line at 7:30 a.m., half an hour before polls opened.

What you need to know about Election Day
6:00 p.m. Monday, November 4 | Polls will be open from 8am to 8pm on Tuesday 5 November. This is the second statewide election in Nebraska where voters will be required to present photo ID to cast their ballots.
Acceptable forms of voter ID include a driver’s license, state ID, military ID, and US passport. A complete list of acceptable voter ID cards can be found on the Nebraska Secretary of State’s website.
