Las Vegas voters heading to the polls today can expect clear skies and comfortable temperatures perfect for spending time outdoors. Expect high temperatures near 70°F on Tuesday, making for a welcoming environment as residents vote. However, as the day progresses on Wednesday, wind gusts may increase significantly, reaching 33 mph. Residents and travelers should be prepared for these cool conditions, especially on open roads and highways.

According to the US National Weather Service, winds will pick up Tuesday evening, blowing from the north at 11 to 20 mph, with gusts possibly reaching 31 mph. Wednesday will continue the sunny trend, but we will also see increased winds, with winds shifting from the north to northeast and gusting up to 33 mph. This windy weather could affect visibility on major roadways, including I-15 and US Route 95, so drivers should remain cautious.

Extended forecast for Las Vegas:

Tuesday evening: Partly cloudy with a low around 46°F. North wind 11 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 61°F. North-northeast wind 17 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.

Las Vegas residents should enjoy the sunny days ahead, but be aware of windy spells, especially those planning to travel or spend extended time outdoors.
