An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the fatal bike crash which claimed the life of a County Durham teenager.
Tony Hedley, known as TJ, died following a collision with a taxi on Saturday, October 5 at around 8pm.
Flowers were left where the 16-year-old boy died as the community mourned his death.
A second boy, also aged 16, was seriously injured in the incident on Park Road in South Moor, Stanley.

The inquest was opened at Crook Civic Center on Monday by Durham County Coroner Jeremy Chipperfield.
Durham Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
