Tuesday is Election Day in Nevada, and there are 55 polling places in Washoe County where you can vote in person or drop off a mail-in ballot.
All polling centers will be open from 7am to 7pm on Tuesday and you can still vote as long as you are in line by 7pm. All mail-in ballots postmarked on Election Day and received by Friday, Nov. 8, will be counted statewide.
Nevada Election Day Schedule
7am on Election Day: Polls open across the Silver State
8 a.m. on Election Day: Registrars and clerks may begin tallying (counting) all early in-person votes AND all ballots received and processed up to that point. No results published yet.
7:00 PM on Election Day: Polls close in Nevada, but anyone still in line at 7:00 PM will be eligible to vote
After the last Nevada voter votes: The first batch of results will be released, which includes all in-person early voting and all mail-in ballots received through Nov. 4 (over 1 million votes)
Later on election night: The second batch of results will be released, which includes all in-person votes on Election Day
