BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPRUD) — A Walker man arrested twice on rape charges was indicted by an East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury on Thursday, October 31st.
David Kutty, 39, of Walker, was indicted on charges of first-degree rape, second-degree aggravated battery, false imprisonment and being a felon armed with a dangerous weapon, according to court documents.
Kuti was arrested in June after he was accused of raping a woman at a Baton Rouge home. Walker reportedly went to the home to help the victim move items from the side road prior to the reported assault.
He was accused of slapping, sexually assaulting and beating the victim for hours. According to officials, Coutee told the victim he would kill her if she contacted law enforcement.
