72 -year -old Hialeah Gardens Woman accused of Dui’s murder in a fatal disaster in the lake – NBC Miami

The 72-year-old wife of Hyallea Gardens faces Dui’s murder accusation of a lake crash, killing another woman in December.

Julia Vega was arrested Friday in the crash in the murder of 69-year-old Elsa Pintor, according to an arrest report.

The crash happened around 11:00 on December 30 in the parking lot of an apartment complex in 9900 block of W. Okeechobee Road.

According to the report, Vega was driving in the parking lot when he suddenly accelerated, hitting a yellow pillar for a retainer and chain fence before colliding into the lake.

Vega escaped through the side window of the driver and a police sergeant who arrived and found her hanging out the window that screams for help threw her rope and pulled her to safety, the report said.

Vega surrendered to the authorities and was reserved in prison. Bond court over the weekend was taught that Pinter’s daughter and son were married and have children together.

Vega’s lawyer asked for a reasonable relationship, stating that he had a very clean driving document and was arrested once before, but the charge was dropped.

The judge defined the Vega bond at $ 50,000 and ordered her not to drive.
