Low Side, SC (WCIV) – The South Carolina State Fair has announced that they are opening applications for the 28 annual scholarship programs of your life.

According to a statement from the State Fair, this initiative allocates $ 500,000 to colleges scholarships to South Carolina South Carolina Schools. Since 1997, the State SC Fair has awarded more than $ 5 million to South Carolina students.

“At the State Fair in South Carolina, we are dedicated to gathering the potential of young adults of South Carolina by investing in their education and future,” says Nancy Smith, General Manager of the State Fair in South Carolina. “Through initiatives such as our scholarship program, we strive to cultivate a brighter future for our communities and the state.”

This year, 50 adult high schools will receive scholarships of $ 10,000, which will be paid at $ 2,500 a year in four years. Students who pursue two years will receive $ 2500 a year in two years.

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic and extracurricular achievements, communication skills, need and completeness of the application.

Applications will be open until March 15 and can be submitted online.
