No one will ever forget what the Washington commanders had achieved in 2024, but not all provided a blast for their dollar.
Chief coach Dan Quinn and General Manager Adam Peters led an incredible change of culture through the franchise. From fans to Josh Harris’s property group and players, they all bought in the long -term project. The results were immediate and impressive to the same extent.
Commanders have passed from the total choice of No. 2 in the NFL draft in 2024 to a game of Super Bowl. Quinn has mastered a campaign that has a total of 14 wins-12 triumphs of the regular season and two memorable victories after the season on the road. In the end, they fell into the NFC championship match to the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, but this does not make the bright future of franchise under the new regime.
Peters’ priority immediately turned to the extra -season. The commanders have 30 free agents, so there is a great chance that things look completely different next time. Some will be extended or released some time ago. Other dramatic few months await you before Washington reunites for organized team activities again.

Michael Davis – Commanders CB
Washington’s commanders were at risk of Michael Davis at a free agency. Despite his lower performance with Los Angeles charges in 2023, those in power saw something in the veteran corner to give him a one-year, $ 3.54 million deal with the promise of potential initial participation if he passed smooth.

It was a devastating blow to Davis’s chances of settling firmly in Washington. It is out of the contract in this extra -season and must be moved with a little fanfare attached. Whether he is catching elsewhere remains to be seen, but his prospects for NFL are hanging from a thread, looking at his recent career trajectory.
