5 places in Talahasi that will satisfy your sweet treat – its campus

This article was written by a student writer from her campus in FSU head.

The transition to Talahasi from South Florida was a complete cultural shock. I used to have endless options for sweet treat, all within five minutes of my house. So, when I reached Talahasi, I believed the days of picking up my keys and caught a quick sweet treat after school or just before going to bed long gone.

Or so I thought. After three semesters here, it is safe to say that I understood my path and fortunately for you, I found that some of the best sweet treat options that Talahasi can offer.

Beignets & Brew

Beignets & Brew in Tallahassee, Flđź“Ťi, I would like to be this, that would be the perfect survey + a quick sweet place during the score! The Benetrates were 10/10, perfect size and super fresh. Biscoff Latte was cool 7/10, somehow giving watery and could be a little sluggish. #fyp #tallahassee #fsu #famu

This is a place to check that you are looking for some New Orleans -style beats. Beignets & Brew is a little further, 16-minute drive from FSU campus. However, it’s so amazing that it’s worth driving.

This is great for an afternoon sweet treat or a place to go on the weekend for some time to study in a new environment. They offer a variety of scents, but I never deviate from their original beigners.

They also have sauces such as caramel, chocolate or blueberry, to which you can add to immerse your bay. While here, you can also choose from their various drinks; They have cold lime, flavored latte, tea latte and even energy drinks.

Bruster’s real ice cream

I think Brewster is one of the most incredible things that exist because it is open to 11pm and there is a drilling that makes it the best sweet treat on a late night. Not to mention it’s just a six -minute drive from campus.

There is one ton of scents and garnish, and their milk shakes should die. You miss out if you haven’t been to Brewster yet!

Donut Kingdom & Mo Cookies

I am not the largest gal of donuts; However, I think the glazed donuts of Donut Kingdom may be better than Krispy Kreme. It is important to note that I have not had a donut from Krispy Kreme for years, but I really believe that these glazed donuts are just as good if not better.

And if you are not a big fan of donuts, the location of the donut kingdom on Western Tennessee Street is also Mo Cookies. I consider myself a connoisseur of cookies, so believe me when I say these cookies are incredible.

If You don’t believe me, look at their Instagram and the videos will convince you.

Cupcakery Smallcakes

Nothing in this world cheers me like a good cupcake or a piece of cake, and Smallcakes is just the place to get it. There are so many scents and options and you can never go wrong. A fun fact: they were actually in Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, which means they are qualified to spread sweet treats.

Whether you are looking for a fast trip to a Brewster or Sweet Sunday with a visit to Beignets & Brew, there is no shortage of sweet treats in Talahassi!

When I first got to Talahasi, I decided that I would feel that there was not enough or something else. However, this was not the case. I find new things to do all the time. There is always a new restaurant, a new sweet treat or a new store. There are many options; You just have to look for them!
