Five family members are against accusations after police said she was using drugs from Hialeah, where they live with two young children.
The five suspects were arrested after SWAT members executed a search order on Thursday at The Star Motel of 1651 West Okeechobee Road and found a crystal meth, heroin, marijuana and various pills, according to arrest reports.
One of the children, who was born in 2020, was found at the motel, while the other child, who is about 10 years old, was found in her primary school, the reports said.
According to the reports, the order was executed after Hialeah’s police detectives conducted three separate drug purchases at the motel.
Detectives bought Crystal Met, and the two children attended the deals, the reports said.
The mother of the children, 39-year-old Jessica Lange Neves, was arrested on charges of possessing controlled substances with the intention of selling and neglecting children without major bodily harm.
Her boyfriend, 38-year-old Roy Carlos Duran, was arrested on similar charges.

The parents of the NIVs and the grandparents of her children, 57-year-old William Neves and 56-year-old Melinda Neves, who have been separated and live in different rooms at the motel, were also arrested for neglecting children.
William Neves was also accused of possessing a controlled substance and trafficking in fentanyl.
Melinda Neves’ boyfriend, 53-year-old Jose Manuel Cortez, was arrested on charges of neglecting children, possession of drugs and possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted criminal.
