4 WC Quakers listed on All -State Teams Collegiate Soccer Association – The Highland County Press

Ohio’s College of Football Association has announced the selections of their NCAA Division III All-Ohio teams, with four Wilmington Quakers on the list.

Parker Burke and Randy Harris were appointed to the second men’s team, Alex Wilson was appointed women’s second team, and Lindsay Bauer was named the third women’s team.

Burke adds to his confessions in his first year in collegial football, with the 22 goal program and the All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) and the Second Divisions team of the United Football coaches Division III.

Burke also set out five assists in his 20 games played, which led to the fourth highest point in program history (49). These 22 goals were tied to third place in the country, and its 49 points were sixth in the country.

Harris was appointed as the first team of the All-Oac and the third team of the United Football Coaches Division III VII Third Team, also of his first year with the quakes after transferring from NCAA Division II Malone.

Harris scored 10 goals and 12 assists for Quakers, the only Wilmington player with double figures in both categories, playing in all 20 games. The 12 assists were good for the second place in OAC and 11th in Division III. The general assistant is also bound to a second time in all time in the history of the Wilmington NCAA-Erato program. Its common goal and the total point of the point (32) were both in OAC.

Wilson, unlike his male colleagues, finished his third year with the quakes, winning his second nod to the first All-Oac team, with a third nod in 2023 and the third team of the United Football Coaches Division III.

It was in seventh place in OAC in points (21), tied to seventh place in goals (8) and tied to eighth in assists (5), all while led the conference in shots (91) and shots on goal (47) S This was noted by Wilson’s second nod in a team of Ohio, which won a nod to a second team in 2022.

Bauer was an anchor on the back line of Quakers and played almost every minute of every game. During the conference and post -season, she never went out of the game once, which is an impressive task for a freshman. The Quakers were sixth in the conference in both goals, allowed with 24 and goals, allowed on average for 1.26 per game.

The men from Wilmington were a funny watch group and they would look to get better in their record next season while looking for a place in the NCAA tournament. And Quaker women continue to improve each season as they are looking for their first performance at the 2003 NCAA tournament.
