RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) – Police are still searching for the suspect responsible for shooting four people at a Midtown bar early Saturday morning.
Officers from the Reno Police Department responded to Shea’s Tavern on the 700 block of S. Virginia St. shortly after midnight on Nov. 2 for the report of shots fired in the area.
Upon arrival, officers found four victims with visible gunshot wounds and immediately began rendering medical aid. REMSA arrived on scene and all injured were transported to hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.
The suspect in this shooting is still unknown. Authorities say they believe this is an isolated incident with no threat to the public.
More than two dozen police officers and other first responders could be seen outside the bar in the hours after the shooting.
The scene was still active as of 11:30 a.m. Saturday as police investigated. The Reno Police Department is asking people to avoid the area of S. Virginia St. from California Ave. to Cheney.
