Four people were injured in an early morning fire that broke out in a Washington Heitz Residential Building, Fdny said.
The fire was announced around 12:40 pm and is located on the third floor of 247 Avenue Wodwsworth, between the streets W 186 and W 185.
According to the FDNY, 12 units responded to Blaze with 60 Fire and EMS staff on the spot. They managed to put the fire under control shortly after 1:30 in the morning
A total of four people were injured: two were transported to a local hospital, while the other two were estimated at the scene and refused additional medical attention. Currently, the conditions of the two who have been hospitalized are unknown.
The fire remains in the process of investigation.
