Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was arrested in connection with the possession of drugs after stopping traffic on Tuesday night in southern Topeka, officials said.
The arrested man was identified as Justin K. Goodsper, 36 years old from Eskridge.
According to the staff of the SHOWN County Sheriff, Goodspeed was taken in guard after stopping traffic around 5:45 pm Tuesday in the 3800 block on the SW Topeka Boulevard.
The Deputy Sheriff of the Shawney County has stopped the Gold 2002 Pontiac Bonneville traffic at this place, employees said.
During the stopping of the traffic, the employees said, it was found that the driver – later identified as GoodSpeed - had a stopped driver’s license.
Officials said GoodSpeed was subsequently arrested and reserved in the shown prison in connection with the possession of opiate, opium, drug or a certain stimulant; possession of marijuana; possession of drugs; and driving with a discontinued certificate.
This incident is still being investigated, staff said on Wednesday afternoon.
