3 Students from Wilmington College named Oac Athlete of the Week – Highland County Press

Three students at Wilmington College were named ACT’s Athlete of the Week last week.

Domenic Farley received the first Athletic Conference player of Ohio (OAC) of the Week Honor for Men’s Basketball, as he made it again on December 4, 2023.

Farley won this honor for a 24-point, eight-encounter performance that upset the University of Mount Union 80-79, the eventual conference for the regular season and the runner-up of the tournament. In this game, Farley scored four of the last six points.

This time, Farley once again plays an important role in the Purple Raiders disorder, currently number one team in OAC, hitting the game of three with 7.5 seconds.

In the past week, in this victory over Mount Union and a double -time loss at Muskingum University, Farley is an average of 34 minutes and amounts to 34 points, 15 rebounds, 11 assists, two thefts and a block.

Against Muskingum, Farley had his first double double for the season with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Justin Shuga won the Ohio Athletic Conference on the Honor of the Week for her performance at Joe Banks Invitational at the North University of Ohio last Friday.

Shuga had the best of 18.25 million career throwing in weight toss, enough for a second in the invitation, behind only teammate JJ Durr, which is currently the leading Division III in the weight throw. He was also third in the shot with a throw of 14.20 m.

Currently, Shuga is in the 14th place in the country in the weight of weights. He was ranked third in the conference in the weight toss and the fifth in the launch conference.

Noah Tobin won the Ohio Athletic Conference athlete (OAC), honoring his performance at the Steemer showcase at Springfield last Saturday.

Although he ended in the ninth as a whole, he ran his best time for the season at 8: 27.43 in 3000 meters. This presentation of ninth place was against a tidy field, as he left three athletes from Division I, athlete from Division II and 20th, 26th and 38th, best runners in Division III for this event.

Tobin’s performance is the best time in OAC. It is also 22 on a national scale in a 5000 -meter cycle at 14: 44.34 after the transformation for the size of the track.

This is the first prize of Tobin Oac Track Athlete of the Week during his career. He received four athletes of the long-distance athletes of the week in 2024 and seven as a whole during his quarry career and was the runner of the Oac Cross-Country of the year last season.
