22nd MSU Men’s Tennis Falls in a stubborn battle for a road at Boise State-Michigan State Athletics

Boise, Idaho – Men’s Michigan tennis fell on Boise State, in a stubborn battle for the road, 4-3, Sunday afternoon.

Sunday was the fifth MSU match away from home, including his fourth real road in a row.

With the ranking of ITA is launched earlier during the week and a freshman Matthew Forbes Winning the Big Ten Freshman of the Week Award, the Spartans were eagerly awaiting to prove themselves after the team cut six seats in the ITA team rankings.

Spartans switched their couples with secondary Taym alazmeh/freshman Danial Rakhmatullayev In place # 1, with the duet of Brother Senior Max Sheldon/freshman Mitchell Sheldon under number two and freshman Matthew Forbes/ /VUK RAGANOVIC In the last place, the Spartans double couples.

At the next Forbes/Radjenovic court, he faced Chin/Van Hersele by Boise State. The Spartan duo fought hard but fell, 6-4.

With the separation of sets, the Spartans looked at Alazme/Rahmatulaev to win their match and grab the point of couples for the team.

Alazmeh/Rakhmatullayev took Middleton/Baker from Boise State to the hard -won tiebreaker. The Spartan duo defeated Middleton/Baker, 7-6 (7-4).

With Double Point in favor of the Spartans, the team continued to their single matches.

Alazmeh was the first Spartan to finish his singles match in No. 4 singles. Lucas Seyfert (BSU) beat Alazmech 6-3, 6-4.

No. 61 ma. Sheldon won himself at # 1 single over Jet Middleton (BSU) with a direct victory, ending 7-5, 6-3.

Mi. Sheldon fought hard after the dominant first set of single No. 6, but James Van Hersile (BSU) returns to take the match 1-6, 6-4, 6-4.

On-site No. 5 single, Rahmatulaev struggles after a heavy loss of a first set tie to defeat John Chin (BSU), 6-7 (8-10), 6-2, 6-2.

Rajanovic raised a strong battle at singles # 3, but eventually fell to Julius Siffert (BSU) in a solid match, 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 6-4.

With the points all tied 3-3, they were all looking for Forbes of # 2 single to win their set.

With the match to be resolved on court 4, Forbes took over Carson Baker of Boise State. Forbes fought hard, but fell in the last two sets, 7-6 (9-7), 4-6, 4-6.

The Spartans again walked on the road when they were traveling to Ithaca, New York to take Cornell on Sunday, February 23.
