BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Bare Hands, Inc. hosts the 22nd annual Day of the Dead festival, Día de los Muertos Número 22, on November 2. 3 to 11 pm at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark.
The Day of the Dead originated centuries ago in Mexico and is a vibrant, colorful day to celebrate the joyful memories of lost loved ones. In honor of those who are no longer with us, Day of the Dead combines storytelling, food, family and friends to preserve their memories.
The festival will have an art market with everything from handmade jewelry to glass ceramics and more from art dealers. Many food vendors as well as musical artists, dancers and more will be present at the event.

Tickets are available in advance for $15 or $20 at the door. Children under 12 are FREE.
