2026 DL Perez watching Western Virginia visit after offer – Western Virginia football

Cleveland (Oh.) Glenville Academic Campus 2026 Protective Liner Jamir Perez has an offer from West Virginia and now plans to reach the campus to check the football program.

Perez, 6 feet-4, 330 pounds, received an offer from the mountaineers after the defense assistant Pat Kirkland stopped from his school during the contact period.

“He said I would be very suitable for the program and I know that Western Virginia was in 39 cup games and created one of the most explosive players Tavon Austin,” he said.

Perez talks not only with Kirkland, but also about the chief coach Rich Richriguez, as well as the defense coordinator Zack Ali, and they made it clear that he would be appropriate in the scheme.

“And I think I would. I like my size and type of person as I am, “he said.

The climbers are aimed at Perez as either with a nose or three defense technique, and together with Western Virginia he received offers from Wisconsin, Iowa, Cincinnati and several more.

The plan is to visit Morgantown in March to examine the school and then he plans to return for an employee to see even more that Western Virginia can offer.

Perez also plans to visit Cincinnati, Wisconsin and Iowa.

Perez wants to find a school where he feels at home and will encourage him to be the best player who can be.

“And put me in the situation to be the best caliber player,” he said.
