2025 Coaching Hire Mike McDonald can be compared to most (and this is not Pete) – 12th man rises

Well, how do everyone feel about Seattle Seyhox’s new head coach? Compared to other vacancies, Mike McDonald reached an agreement with John Schneider and the Hawk band quite late in the process. He didn’t even have time to go to the combine. McDonald finally arrived and went to work.

He came, he hired, he stood and pressed the previous nine winning Seahawks team up to 10 wins. Does this mean that this was a success? How do fans put their performance this year and go forward in the right perspective and context?

He will come close to close and personally with three other semi-young coaches at NFC West: Sean McBey, Kyle Shanahan and Jonathan Ganon. These guys will collide annually until one or more is fired. It is difficult to compare McDonald with these coaches, though … they are at different points in the continuum to apply their vision to the team. If Seahawks are successful, it will eventually happen.

Seatle Seahawks’s head coach Mike McDonald can be forever comparable to this 2025 coaching rent.

Many will name the former Franchise leader, Pete Carroll, who has agreed to lead Las Vegas strikers. The most successful coach in Seattle Seyhox’s chronicle will build something new (in which he is very good). It is quite easy to think about what it could be if John Schneider decides to hire a familiar face in the former DC in Seattle, Dan Quinn.

Quinn just led one of the most successful Washington has been running for a long time with his first crack in DC, however, these two men represented the remnants of the past for Schneider who wanted to burn a new path in the league and investigate the new Trend of hot upcoming coaches.

Harken returned to time (NFL 2024 playoffs shortly after the shocking shooting of Seahawks Carroll coach. Seattle at first glance has narrowed his capabilities. He was between the offensive flammakers, Ben Johnson and the defensive harvest Mike McDonald.

The only other chief coach with a superbul’s performance in Seahawks is Mike Holmgren … And he made a special appeal to John Schneider to plead for his offensive rent. Now we all know that John ultimately remains true to what is a seasoned Seahawks identity at this point: an accent on the stop block. Defense wins championships?

Was Schneider’s choice? Ben Johnson’s decision to get out of the HC’s work in Washington and Seattle forced his hand? We can never know. His choice made his way to hope for commanders, Seahawks, Lions and Bears in different ways (and probably for different lengths of time).

Will Washington and Seattle look like losses left at the altar, or will they be pleased with their rental solutions after all? Did Johnson really ask for money to set records and better yet: Is it worth it? So many questions and inheritances remain defined.

Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears will now be forever related to this iteration of Seattle Seyhox. Whether they are correct or wrong, they are in some diametrically opposite situation, investing in the antithetically polar countries of football. Is today’s NFL more inclined to an advantage for the crime over defense? If BJ’s achievements ultimately exceed Macdonald’s, fans will be wondering what it might be if their GM listened to Mike Holmgren.

About 12 will not want to deal with what is so and what it should be. I also understand, but it’s too juicy for a story. NFL is an unforgivable meritocracy, the cold truth that Seattle was awakened last year. This writer loves ZAG in a refreshed defensive mentality, while the rest of the league is a number of crimes.

We hope and wait for us to see evidence that Seahawks has hired the right person for the work. This extra -season can be much more greater for him to put his fingerprints in the team. The legacy of these coaches will develop in competition with each other and during the challenges of different seasons.

There may be a four of the coaches that can all be joyfully compared to the side: Pete Carol, Mike McDonald, Ben Johnson and Dan Quinn. Old lesson against a new school, a crime against defense. Seahawks fans will look at the future with optimism, hoping to ahead the league trends and see a contender once more.

The man who originally installed a championship culture, Pete Carol, will be in the Old Head Division of the AFC West coaching gurus. I would say that I already miss football, but there are many comparisons that need to be made and lessons that need to be learned in the extra -season. I can’t wait!
