BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A 20-year-old man killed in a shooting in Birmingham was identified Tuesday morning.
The Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office confirms that Amauria Rardrekus Caffey was shot in the 1600 block of 5th Street North in Birmingham at approximately 12:12 a.m. on November 4th. Caffey was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting at 12:45 p.m.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating Caffey’s death as a homicide.
