20 performers who launched their own music festivals – Yardbarker

There is nothing like the magic of live-artists performing their creativity, and fans can experience energy and real-time relationship. Festivals are the perfect vibration for this, offering fans a chance to see many artists in one place and find some new tunes. Over the years, artists have not only presented themselves at festivals, but have created their own to cure extraordinary experiences for their fans while returning to local communities. J. Cole

J. Cole has always been a fan of showing love in his home state of North Carolina. In 2019, he launched his annual Dreamville Festival, which took place on Dorothea Dix Park in Relo and held a crowd of about 35,000. In the first year Cole as a headliner. The composition includes Lil Uzi Vert, Skrillex, Common, Kanye West, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, 2 Chain and Tyler, creator.

In 2012, Nu Metal Band Slipknot launched its Knotfest festival, which consisted most of colleagues of heavy metal and alternative acts. Over the years, Knotfest has been held worldwide, including California, Mexico, France, Australia, Germany and Brazil.
