Like patients in Wyoming and Ohio, they had “respiratory and non -spiral symptoms,” a CDC report said.

US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have said in a flu update that two people in Wyoming and Ohio are hospitalized with H5N1 bird flu. While the Ohio patient is released, the patient in Wyoming is still in the hospital. Both patients had “respiratory and non -respiratory symptoms,” the report said.

“This shows that the H5N1 can be very heavy and we should not accept that it will always be a light,” says Angela Rasmussen, a virologist at the vaccine and infectious disease organization at the University of Sascatchevan.

Fears of the advent of a more dangerous virus

This is considered one of the oldest seasonal foci of the flu for 15 years. There are concerns about a more dangerous virus that occurs, combining bird flu and seasonal flu in a process called re -assembly.

“I am very worried about the H5N1 in patients who are treated in hospitals where there are also many patients with seasonal flu, as this creates opportunities for re -assembly, which can potentially produce a H5N1 subject to pandemic,” Rasmussen said.

They are reported to be the first cases of human H5 found in Wyoming and Ohio.

A statement from the Ministry of Health of Wyomoming said that a “older” woman from Platt, Wyoming County was admitted to a hospital in another country and “there are health conditions that can make people more vulnerable to disease,” according to disease, according to The Guardian. The woman was infected while being exposed to poultry in a herd of the backyard, which tested positively for H5N1, according to a CDC report. On the other hand, a man in Mercer County, Ohio, was infected during depopulation or killing, H5N1-positive poultry at a commercial establishment, said a statement from the Ministry of Health in Ohio. He is now discharged from the hospital “And now he’s recovering at home,” according to the CDC report.

So far, there are 70 confirmed cases of highly pathogenic bird flu. It was first discovered in the cows last year.
