Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – The Red Cross helps two people after they were displaced after Thursday afternoon, February 13th, a home fire.
According to Baton Rouge’s fire department, the fire happened in the 2600 block on Cable Street around 3:00 pm Firefighters arrived in place to find strong smoke and flames coming from the back of the home.
The officials managed to control the fire to the area, but the rest of the home suffered significant damage from smoke and water. The cause of the fire is in the process of investigation.
No injuries have been reported.
