Two local cafes have been announced among the best in the world by an organization that encourages the best cafes on planet Earth.
Called by the 100 best cafes in the world, the group’s website listed at StomyIQue in Avondale and Homewood and Seeds Coffee Company in West Homewood in their last rankings.
Two other cafes in Alabama – are predominant by Montgomery and Turbo Coffee, which have seats in Huntsville, Tuscalusa and Florence also made the world list.

How were the 100 best cafes rated in the world
According to the Montgomery advertiser, who for the first time announced the story of the 100th best list of cafes in the world, the group held a public vote and included a panel of specialized coffee experts to decide the 100 best cafes.
Their criteria included:
- Coffee quality
- The barista’s experience
- Customer service
- Innovation
- Atmosphere
- Resistance
- Food and sweet quality
- Consistency
