Two men were arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking after police discovered a brothel at an Irvine home the men allegedly advertised on flyers placed on neighbors’ cars, police said.
A witness reported suspicious activity at a Cypress Village home, police said on social media Friday.
On Wednesday, the Irvine Special Investigations Unit arrested Qiyin Jiaqiyin, 51, of Irvine, and Xiaoming Ding, 36, of Whittier, after executing a search warrant at the residence and discovering a brothel, police said.
“The fliers describe the females present at the residence,” said Kyle Oldoerp, Irvine Police Public Information Officer.
Three victims at the residence received victim assistance information before leaving the property.
The two men were booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of sex trafficking.
There is no further information on the status of the victims or more potential victims.
