Two teenagers are in custody after attacking and chasing Durham and Chapel Hill.
Both suspects were wanted in connection with multi-circular pursuit, in which troops were shot on a highway in North Carolina (SHP).
On Saturday, when police officers in Durham (DPD) were called into the 2900 block of Chapel Hill Road during a vehicle pursuit.
Durham police have received information that wants minors, aged 14 and 15, have been seen in a black infinity in the area – which authorities said it was stolen.
Investigators followed the car in a 900 block of constitutional driving, but the suspects had already escaped.
Later, the troops found them in another car and chased them away into the Chapel Hill.
When they entered the Chapel Hill, people in the car started firing on Trooper – hitting a few parked cars at Timber Hollow Court’s apartment complex near Mendel Drive.
The three people in the car, all wearing ski masks, popped up and ran when they reached a dead end of Mendel Drive. The suspects escaped on foot and a subsequent search followed.
Around 12:30 on Wednesday, police in Durham executed a search order in 300 block on N. Holman Street. A 15-year-old suspect was arrested and four firearms were seized.
Around 1:00 pm, the second search order was made in 900 block of E. Main Street, leading to the arrest of a 14-year-old suspect.
Both suspects of minors face numerous charges of Chapel Hill, including:
- First -degree attempted attempt
- Attack with a deadly weapon with the intention of killing
- A RAGE ASSOCTION ASSOCIATE
- Possession of a stolen firearm
- Possession of a stolen motor vehicle
- Possession of a firearm by a minor
- Pistol attack
- Disposal of a firearm into a patrol vehicle
- Disposal of firearms within the city limits
- Resist, delay, obstacle
- Four personal property damage
The investigation is ongoing and additional fees can be raised.
The person, taken on a guard on Tuesday from the North Carolina highway patrol on Avenue Legion and Durham Chapel Hill Blvd, is not suspected of the Orange County case.
