11-year-old Evan Sanchez grill the Super Bowl stars on media day-nevada Sports Net

Evan Sanchez, an 11-year-old fifth-grader at Jesse Beck’s elementary school, received the opportunity for once in his life this week, winning a Panini KID reporter competition for this year’s Super Bowl.

Sanchez and his father, Ray, a former Wolf player of Nevada, traveled to New Orleans on Monday for Super Bowl Lix to interview players of the city’s Kansas and Philadelphia Eagles, while accompanied by the super -bowle Trent Dilfer. Sanchez will also receive lunch at Pro Football Hall of Fame on Thursday.

Previously, Sanchez grilled some of the biggest NFL stars, asking questions from Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Sakun Barkley, Chris Jones, Ai Brown and Andy Reed.

Sanchez was chosen by a pool or more than 290,000 participants in the national competition, writing an essay on how he did not let his small growth interfere with his dreams. He also signed up to make models of video interviews while wearing team T -shirts. Sanchez is a fan of Los Angeles Rams, who plays baseball, flag football, football and basketball and enjoys fishing and camping.

His father, Ray, is an assistant football coach in Bishop Manog, who won state titles from behind and is in the Hall of Carson High Football Hall after Rita for Nevada 1999-2001.
