Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – Police arrest one person after a shooting who left another person injured in a parking lot of Baton Rouge on Saturday afternoon, February 22.
According to the Baton Rouge police station, the incident happened at about 12:30 in the parking lot of Cortana Place’s Firestone car market.
Police said two women had entered into a dispute and one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other.
The female who was shot dead was taken to hospital with injuries that are not life -threatening.
The shooter was taken by police, according to BRPD. Authorities have not yet released her name.
One of the Firestone windows was hit by bullets during the shooting, police said.
The investigation is still ongoing.
