1 person is ill when shooting during a party on BrightSide Drive, according to the police – WAFB

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – A man was injured in firing during a Brightside Drive party near River Road in Baton Rouge, police said.

According to the Baton Rouge police department, the man was killed in a hospital with a firearm at about 1:30 on Sunday, February 2.

Before the shooting happened, the wounded man and someone else attended the party and went out, police said. They added that several other people then exited a vehicle and opened fire.

Many cars were damaged during the shooting.

The condition of the injured man is currently unknown.
