By james art RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) – One person was killed and another injured after a shooting in downtown Reno Sunday afternoon.
Officers from the Reno Police Department responded to West 2nd St. and Roth Way around 3:15 on October 20.
When police arrived at the scene, they found two men with apparent gunshot wounds – one dead and the other in critical condition.
Witnesses in the area thought it was a drive-by shooting, but Reno police said that was not the case.
A local resident in the area told News 4-Fox 11 that the crime and excessive noise on 2nd Street is getting out of control.
Police have not released any additional information about a possible motive, but believe the two men are the only ones involved.
