LANDER, Wyo. — One person was killed and another injured Oct. 31 in a rollover crash in Fremont County.
According to reports from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was headed south on Wyoming Highway 789 shortly after 2:30 p.m. Near mile marker 85.3, another truck attempted to merge from the center lane, and the pickup truck and the vehicle in front of it swerve to avoid a collision. The pickup truck and the merging vehicle hit each other, causing the merging vehicle to lose control and overturn several times before landing on its roof.
The wreck killed 72-year-old Wyoming resident John Henderson.
