№ 25 Utah sets the perfect league record against Boise State – AOL

No. 25 Utah is one of only two teams that have not yet been defeated in a Mountain West conference game, but it will be a challenge to maintain this impeccable record this weekend.

Aggies (15-1, 5-0 Mountain West) put their unsettled brand on the league when hosted Boise State (12-4, 4-1) on Saturday night in Logan, Utah.

The Utah state was reminded earlier this week when it exceeded San Jose’s spiritualized efforts in winning the 85-78 time that any team in the conference may face a good battle in any night.

“Every game will be a battle,” said Utah coach Jord Kalhun. “It doesn’t matter if you are 15-1 or not, you’ll get the best shot at all. I thought certainly (Tuesday) we did it and our boys managed to overcome a very, very hot San Jose team.”

Mason Fallev led a balanced attack on the agias they won, although San Jose State hit 14 out of 33 3 -point attempts. Fallev is 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

However, according to a typical state fashion in Utah, a variety of players contributed to the fifth direct victory of the team, including Tucker Anderson (15 points), Ian Martinez (14 points), Dayton Albury (13 points, six rebounds) and Carson Templin (10 points, seven boards, two blocks).

The agias were pumped to be voted on in the ranking this week for the third season of 2019 with the head coach of the first year. Utah had to win it after San Jose State tied the game about six minutes before the agias improved to 78-25 for all time while in the Associated Press ranking.

“Personally,” Albury said, “I would say I just call me to wake up how blessed I am to be in this position to play for a ranked team and to be around some guys who love the game and are also selfless.”

Boise State called his own waking up to this week, which led them to pass the Unlv 81-59 on Tuesday after they fell home against San Diego State last weekend.

Tyson Degenhart, an average of 17.7 points and 6.3 rebounds, helped Broncos avoid a second straight loss with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

“I thought we were playing 37 really, really powerful minutes,” Boise State coach Leon Rice said after his team lasts at 17-4 Unlv in the second half. “I was really proud of our boys’ response. This is the champion’s mark: the way you respond to some adversity.”

Broncos will be available O’Mar Stanley against Utah. The senior striker, whom Rice said he was involved in “personal problems” while there were several rough trips, had 12 points and four struggles in a reserve role against rebels.

“She seemed to have fun there. It’s the most important part,” Rice said. “You talk about a person from the whole league that comes out of the bench. Other teams are like,” Oh, man, they play well. “Now, another really good player comes here.
